Care & Maintenance

Daily Care

  • Wipe off dust and light dirt with a soft, dry cloth
  • Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or extreme heat, which can dry out and crack the leather

Conditioning

  • Apply a thin layer of leather conditioner or beeswax cream every 3–6 months to keep the leather supple
  • Use a soft cloth to buff in circular motions; allow to absorb fully before use

Water Exposure

  • The wax coating provides moderate water resistance — light rain is fine
  • If soaked, blot dry immediately with a clean cloth; allow to air dry naturally away from heat sources
  • Never use a hair dryer or place near a radiator

Scratch & Scuff Repair

  • Light scratches are part of the character — simply rub with your fingertip or thumb; body heat and friction will blend the mark back in
  • For deeper scuffs, apply a small amount of leather conditioner and buff gently

Storage

  • Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area
  • Use a dust bag or breathable cotton cover — avoid plastic bags which trap moisture
  • Stuff with tissue paper to maintain shape when not in use

Avoid

  • Harsh chemical cleaners, alcohol-based products, or acetone
  • Prolonged contact with water or high humidity
  • Sharp objects that may cut through the wax layer
